Product Marketing Manager

Our client, a medical device company, is seeking a Product Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning
- Evaluating of new technologies
- Defining new product requirements (identify and document user needs)
- Managing development programs with functional team (R&D, Quality, Regulatory, etc)
- Interacting with corporate suppliers and business partners for planning and allocation of products
- New product launch planning / execution
- Developing marketing materials
- Product training to surgeons and sales force
- Product Communication to sales force and customers (i.e. newsletters, targeted e-mails, podcasts, etc)
- Product pricing decisions
- Budget: planning and managing of expenditures to budget
- Tracking and evaluating product performance
- Representing product at tradeshows, meetings, etc
- Maintaining existing relationships and developing / creating relationships with new customers in an ethical and responsible manner
- Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities and providing relevant reports and information
- Direct interaction with Executive Management
- Product inventory and obsolescence
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- 2+ years experience working in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry in a marketing role
- Excellent presentation / public speaking skills
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time and frequently on short notice
